Cukes! Originally, my A frame trellis was a gamble. I was unsure it the cucumbers (or the tomatoes) would take to it and behave themselves. I am very glad that I took the chance on a different design. In my opinion, the A frame design is best for small adjacent raised beds on a hill (like I have) because it pulls the climbers out of the bed and reduces the potential for shading out. It also allows my little kiddos into the harvesting role as they can walk underneath and grab all the produce.
